Plant Identification

  • Sunday, August 11, 2024
  • 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM

Join a ranger as you help them try and identify plants found within the park. Using leaves, we can distinguish between different plants species based off of their shape, texture, smell and markings. Using paint, we can make leaf imprints to store our findings with labels for future identification, and you’ll be able to take yours home. Learn the different types of leaf traits, so that you can identify some plants on your next hike through Wakulla Springs State Park. Meet outside waterfront building.
