Special presentation by well-known Florida archaeologist Jim Dunbar

“The Wakulla Springs Archaeological Mystery:
Some Answers but more Questions”
Research on the oldest archaeological site in Wakulla Springs State Park, the Wakulla Lodge site and its inundated counterpart surrounding the springhead, has taken place on and off since the 1930s. We have learned a great deal in the intervening decades about the first human activity that took place at the park. There is much more to ascertain about the Paleoindians who first discovered the natural wonder known as Wakulla Spring

Musical entertainment provided by Collin Johnson, "The Singing Ranger"

Enjoy an afternoon boat ride on the Wakulla River!

Upon registration, you will receive a confirmation email with in-person meeting details, and Zoom link for virtual attendees.
