  • 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM
  • Please meet at the side gate on CR 61 – Wakulla Springs State Park

EVENT CANCELED

Dear Friends,

I hope that this note finds you well. Your help is needed to keep Wakulla Springs State Park beautiful and protect its wildlife.

In 2003, the Friends adopted a three mile section of CR 61 (from SR 267 to Shadeville Rd). The Friends' road transects the park with the original area of the park (Ed Ball's property) on one side and the Cherokee Sink area on the other.

In support of Keep Wakulla County Beautiful. the Friends conduct quarterly cleanups of their adopted road. As you may know, litter harms wildlife in a variety of ways. By removing litter from the road, volunteers are helping to protect the park's wildlife.

The next cleanup will take place on Saturday, March 21.

Please consider helping to keep the park beautiful and protect its wildlife. Volunteers will work from 9am until noon.

Please meet at the side gate on CR 61  at 9:00am. Wear work clothes and shoes.  Please bring gloves and a water bottle.

Please let me know if you plan to attend.

Take care, Jackie
