It’s time to celebrate the “Wakullaphant” (Manatees at Wakulla Springs)! Meet at the Waterfront Visitors Center for a repeating program from 11:00-3:00 detailing the manatee’s natural history in the area and specifically at the park. Information about adopting a manatee will be available as well as some free materials to delight young people. Embark on a river boat cruise for the best potential to see the “sea elephants”. The gift shop will offer 25% off manatee merchandise (get an early Christmas present) while the soda fountain and restaurant join in the celebration with a confection and menu item in honor of the sirenians.
